Madge Ragan Leon Moore : an oral history / interviewed by Dawn Letson, 1997.

Moore discusses her family and growing up in Rule near Sweetwater, her interest in dance and art, and her experiences as a WASP stationed at Perrin Field. While at Perrin she met Stanley Moore and they were married after WASP deactivation in Dec., 1944. The couple later lived in the Philippines and Japan and now reside in San Antonio, Texas.

Born 1922 in Rule, Texas and learned to fly after graduating from high school. Studied dance at the University of Southern California and Texas State College for Women (now Texas Woman's University) before earning a B.A. in art from Southern Methodist University in 1941. in 1944, she graduated with the WASP class of 44-W-4 and was then stationed at Perrin Field in Sherman, Texas.
